The Humane World for Animals (formerly the Humane Society of the United States) and other leading Minnesota animal protection organizations will gather on Saturday, August 9th, for the Minnesota Conference to End Animal Cruelty. This is a free event.
There will be rescues, animal organizations, and others with tables offering information and helpful resources. MN Pocket Pet Rescue will have a table with information, merch, mailing list sign-up, and other helpful things for community members who want to support small animals in Minnesota.
During this day-long event, they'll share stories of hope, inspiration, goals, and policy initiatives that will shape the future of animal welfare in our state. Discussions will cover a wide range of topics from puppy mills to animal research reforms. With numerous speeches and panel discussions, plus a networking lunch, there's something for everyone regardless of your animal advocacy experience.
