GENERAL VOLUNTEER OPENINGS
Our General Volunteers are the hands-on heart of our team, tackling the everyday, on-the-ground work that keeps the rescue running and helps us fulfill our mission.
SQUEAK SQUAD
Duties: Join and actively participate in at least six pocket pet Facebook groups to promote MNPPR events, share updates, and engage with fellow animal lovers. You will also post flyers in public local spaces each month to help spread the word about our upcoming events and mission.
Requirements: A passion for animals, an active social media presence, and basic knowledge of Google Drive (or a willingness to learn).
SUPPORT TEAM OPENINGS
The Support Team keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes by handling day-to-day scheduling, emails, and administrative tasks for our Leadership Team.
PET PROFILE COORDINATOR
Duties: Create and update online adoption profiles on sites like Petfinder and Adopt-a-Pet, using details provided by our Animal Care Manager and foster families to showcase each pet's personality and help them find their forever homes.
Requirements: Internet access and basic familiarity with Google Drive (or a willingness to learn).
LEADERSHIP TEAM OPENINGS
The Leadership Team oversees core operations, leads monthly meetings, and supports the volunteers in their departments.
VOLUNTEER MANAGER
Duties: Welcome new volunteers by processing applications and introducing them to their department leaders via email. You will promote open volunteer opportunities, support our team by answering questions or resolving concerns, keep our volunteer handbook up to date, and share policy updates. Additionally, you will check in with department leads to identify staffing needs and participate in monthly leadership meetings.
Requirements: Internet access, an active Facebook account to assist with our Volunteer Facebook group, excellent communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.

What do General Volunteers do?
Our General Volunteers are the hands-on heart of our team, tackling the everyday, on-the-ground work that keeps the rescue running and helps us fulfill our mission.
Our volunteer applications take approximately 15 to 25 minutes to complete. Tip: Gather your 3 references' email addresses and a brief list of your past pocket pet/volunteer experiences before you begin. Most of our roles do not require any experience!
