Nynaeve & Navani.jpg
NYNAEVE & NAVANI

SPECIES FERRET

SEX SPAYED FEMALE

AGE 5YRS

BESTIE BONDED

NOTES: Currently vaccinated for rabies. No other veterinary needs other than required annual checkups. Nynaeve received a hormonal implant 2 years ago to see if it helped with rat tail that year, but no need to replace that yet, as it cleared up and no further issues have occurred. I can provide much more in-depth care details, but these are European polecats mixed with domestic ferrets. They are not cuddly, but have been handled by humans since birth. They will nip if you sit still too long in their vicinity, and will bite if they feel threatened. They do enjoy interaction and play with humans and toys, but you need to always keep moving. If you are holding them and moving around, they enjoy being carried, but if you sit still too long, they will nip and want to get down to play. Need to go to a home experienced with ferrets; no kids or other pets unless there is a proper setup to keep everyone separated and safe. Salmon oil on the belly is needed to distract them for nail clippings.

JELLY ROLL, CANNOLI, & SORBET

SPECIES RATS

SEX NEUTERED MALES

AGE 2YRS

BESTIE  BONDED

NOTES: I recently adopted these three from the Humane Society, so my background info for them is limited!

All three rats are very skittish and slow to warm up to humans. None of them tolerate being held. At least two of them have a bite history and aggression towards other rats. - These rats will absolutely need to go to someone with experience with rats. They will need a ton of patience and space and should not be expected to become super socialized. My main reason for rehoming them is space. I only have a two-level cage that has now been split in half to keep these three separated from my other rats, which they could not safely share the cage with.

Now the good parts:
They have started to accept food from our hands and are curious about sniffing or even touching us when we put our hands into the cage. They are very cute and curious! I think they have potential to warm up to humans over time with a lot of gentleness and patience.

Jelly Roll loves to eat and is super excited by all the varieties of snacks you can give him! He gets excited every time I come up to the cage because he wonders if I have treats for him. :) He will hold your finger and ask for a snack!

Cannoli acts tough but is really an anxious guy who just needs some love. He is slowly learning to trust and let his guard down.

Sorbet will steal your heart with his silly poses and sleeping positions. He loves a hammock or cozy spot and will curl up in the cutest ways!
