Are you fourteen or younger? Are you a teen who loves to work with kids? Then this is the place for you! Pocketeers is MN Pocket Pet Rescue's kids volunteer program. You can choose to help out in as many teams as you want! Make sure to get your parents' permission before applying. Learn more about the different Pocketeer teams below. Must be 15+
Teen Mentors help lead and organize the Pocketeers Teams. They are a resource and support for the Pocketeers.
Promo People publicize events, the rescue website/social media and the rescue in general by putting up and handing out flyers.
Cool Collectors collect and track donations at events. They may also contact friends, family, neighbors or businesses to request donations.
Display Designers create visual displays for events that highlight fun facts or care information about the different species we rescue, or about one or some of the pets that that we have in our care (partiularly the ones that have been in rescue for long periods of time.)
The Photography Team takes photos or videos of adoptable animals and events. May work with Display Designers by providing photos. Must have own camera.
Academic Ambassadors give presentations about pocket pets, pocket pet care and MN Pocket Pet Rescue to schools, community centers, local libraries or clubs.
Fundraising Fanatics organize and facilitate fundraising events with their friends or family. Ideas include but are not limited to: car washes, dog washes, bake sales, yard sales.
Donation Dudes collect supplies in their community or at their school for foster animals.
